I am a compassionate and dedicated counsellor supporting women, children, youth, and young adults through life’s challenges and transitions. I strive to create a warm, grounded, and non-judgmental space where clients feel safe, understood, and genuinely supported as they move toward healing and growth.
My approach is trauma-informed, person-centred, and rooted in evidence-based practice. I believe meaningful change happens when clients feel deeply met where they are—without judgment, pressure, or expectation. Together, we focus on building practical tools for emotional regulation, strengthening resilience, and developing a deeper understanding of patterns, relationships, and self.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, an Advanced Diploma in Child and Youth Counselling, and I am currently completing my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. My clinical experience spans child and adolescent psychiatry, addictions counselling, group home and community mental health settings, and case management. This diverse background allows me to support clients experiencing a wide range of emotional, behavioural, and relational concerns.
I have a particular passion for supporting women’s mental health, including anxiety, self-esteem, postpartum and maternal wellness, burnout, and life transitions. I also enjoy working with children and youth using developmentally appropriate, strengths-based, and collaborative approaches that help them feel seen, heard, and empowered.
At the heart of my work is the belief that healing happens in connection. My goal is to help each client feel supported, capable, and more connected to themselves as they navigate their own unique path forward.

I am a Registered Social Worker, counsellor, and co-founder of The Mental Health Studio. I bring over 15 years of experience in counselling and community-based work, supporting individuals and families navigating complex life circumstances. My practice often involves working with the impacts of stress, trauma, addiction, and systemic barriers on overall well-being. My work with women spans many stages of life, including the early challenges of infant care as well as later life transitions. I hold specialized certification in Infant Mental Health and approach this work with a strong understanding of how early relationships influence emotional and relational development across the lifespan. Having personally experienced surgically induced early menopause, I also bring lived understanding to my work with women navigating hormonal and emotional transitions. In my practice, I provide individual counselling to clients experiencing anxiety, low mood, and significant life changes, and I work with families navigating the emotional and relational complexities of having a loved one affected by substance use. Alongside counselling, I offer case management support to help connect clients with additional community, medical, or practical resources that may complement counselling work. At The Mental Health Studio, I also facilitate group therapy within the C.A.R.E. Program, a 12-week intensive day program for women seeking recovery from addiction. Across my work, I focus on working alongside clients to explore their experiences, build insight, and identify strengths that support their goals.
