I am a compassionate and dedicated counsellor who believes that healing begins with feeling truly seen, heard, and understood. I strive to create a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental space where clients can explore life’s challenges, build resilience, and move toward meaningful change at their own pace.

My approach is trauma-informed, person-centred, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I understand that reaching out for support can feel vulnerable, and I am committed to meeting each client with empathy, curiosity, and respect. Together, we work to strengthen coping skills, improve emotional regulation, deepen self-awareness, and navigate the patterns, relationships, and experiences that may be impacting well-being.

I support individuals navigating anxiety, stress, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, relationship challenges, burnout, grief, emotional overwhelm, and the lasting effects of difficult life experiences. I have a particular passion for supporting women’s mental health, including maternal wellness, postpartum adjustment, identity changes, and the unique pressures that can accompany different stages of life.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, an Advanced Diploma in Child and Youth Counselling, and I am currently completing my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. My clinical experience includes child and adolescent psychiatry, addictions counselling, community mental health, group home settings, and case management. This diverse background has given me the opportunity to work alongside individuals facing a wide range of emotional, behavioural, and relational concerns.

While I enjoy working with children, youth, and young adults, I also welcome adults seeking support through personal growth, healing, and life’s challenges. At the heart of my work is the belief that every person has the capacity for growth and change when provided with a safe and supportive therapeutic relationship. My goal is to help clients feel empowered, connected, and equipped to move forward with greater confidence and self-understanding.

I am a Registered Social Worker, counsellor, and co-founder of The Mental Health Studio. I bring over 15 years of experience in counselling and community-based work, supporting individuals and families navigating complex life circumstances. My practice often involves working with the impacts of stress, trauma, addiction, and systemic barriers on overall well-being. My work with women spans many stages of life, including the early challenges of infant care as well as later life transitions. I hold specialized certification in Infant Mental Health and approach this work with a strong understanding of how early relationships influence emotional and relational development across the lifespan. Having personally experienced surgically induced early menopause, I also bring lived understanding to my work with women navigating hormonal and emotional transitions. In my practice, I provide individual counselling to clients experiencing anxiety, low mood, and significant life changes, and I work with families navigating the emotional and relational complexities of having a loved one affected by substance use. Alongside counselling, I offer case management support to help connect clients with additional community, medical, or practical resources that may complement counselling work. At The Mental Health Studio, I also facilitate group therapy within the C.A.R.E. Program, a 12-week intensive day program for women seeking recovery from addiction. Across my work, I focus on working alongside clients to explore their experiences, build insight, and identify strengths that support their goals.
