I am a dedicated counsellor passionate about supporting women, children, youth, and young adults. I strive to offer a warm, grounded, and non-judgmental space where clients feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported.
My work is rooted in trauma-informed, person-centred, and evidence-based practices. I believe in meeting clients exactly where they are, honouring their lived experiences, and empowering them to build practical skills that support emotional regulation, resilience, and meaningful change.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and an Advanced Diploma in Child & Youth Counselling, and I am currently completing my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. My professional background includes experience in addictions counselling, child and adolescent psychiatry, group home settings, case management, and youth mental health support, which allows me to work confidently with a wide range of concerns and life experiences.
I have a particular passion for women’s mental health, including postpartum and maternal wellness, anxiety, self-esteem, and navigating life transitions. When working with children and youth, I use developmentally responsive, strengths-based, and collaborative approaches that help them feel understood, supported, and empowered.
At the heart of my work is a simple goal: to help every client feel supported, capable, and connected as they navigate their healing journey.

I am a Registered Social Worker, counsellor, and co-founder of The Mental Health Studio. I bring over 15 years of experience in counselling and community-based work, supporting individuals and families navigating complex life circumstances. My practice often involves working with the impacts of stress, trauma, addiction, and systemic barriers on overall well-being. My work with women spans many stages of life, including the early challenges of infant care as well as later life transitions. I hold specialized certification in Infant Mental Health and approach this work with a strong understanding of how early relationships influence emotional and relational development across the lifespan. Having personally experienced surgically induced early menopause, I also bring lived understanding to my work with women navigating hormonal and emotional transitions. In my practice, I provide individual counselling to clients experiencing anxiety, low mood, and significant life changes, and I work with families navigating the emotional and relational complexities of having a loved one affected by substance use. Alongside counselling, I offer case management support to help connect clients with additional community, medical, or practical resources that may complement counselling work. At The Mental Health Studio, I also facilitate group therapy within the C.A.R.E. Program, a 12-week intensive day program for women seeking recovery from addiction. Across my work, I focus on working alongside clients to explore their experiences, build insight, and identify strengths that support their goals.

I am a Registered Psychotherapist in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), holding an Honours Bachelor of Arts from York University and a Master’s of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University.
With over a decade of experience in counselling and psychotherapy, I have had the privilege of supporting individuals through a wide range of psychosocial challenges, including depression, anxiety, trauma, and complex life transitions. My work is informed by a strong foundation in psychological assessment, having conducted comprehensive evaluations as a psychometrist with clients presenting diverse clinical needs. This background allows me to take an integrative, thoughtful approach, understanding each person beyond their symptoms and tailoring interventions to their unique circumstances.
Throughout my career, I have founded and developed two clinical practices and spent two years working intensively as the sole psychotherapist in both outpatient and inpatient addiction rehabilitation settings. These experiences deepened my understanding of addiction, recovery, and the layered emotional complexities that often accompany substance use and behavioural addictions.
At the heart of my work is a genuine passion for helping people heal, reconnect with themselves, and move toward meaningful recovery. I strive to create a therapeutic space that is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in respect where clients feel safe to explore their experiences at their own pace and build lasting, transformative change.

I have worked as an addiction counsellor supporting women with substance use concerns since 2023. My work is informed by both clinical training and lived experience as a family member of a loved one with addiction, as well as a decade of participation in peer support groups. This perspective allows me to approach my work with deep empathy, respect, and an understanding of the complexities that addiction can bring to individuals and families.
I am also a grief group facilitator and currently a clinical psychology student completing my Master of Psychology (MPsy). My clinical interests include integrated care for addiction and co-occurring concerns, with a strong emphasis on trauma-informed, inclusive, and strengths-based approaches. I am particularly passionate about creating spaces that empower women and support healing in a way that honours safety, autonomy, and resilience.
I strive to offer a warm, collaborative, and non-judgmental environment where clients feel supported in exploring their experiences, building insight, and developing tools for meaningful and sustainable change.
